About the project

The Park RVA set out to bring a lively mix of hospitality and entertainment to Richmond, Virginia. We were asked to create a mini golf attraction with enough character to hold its own at the heart of the venue.

Our idea for Wonderball took inspiration from a day out in the park, with two courses that move from familiar parkland fun into the colour and spectacle of the fairground. Skate ramps, giant ice creams and a full carousel horse turn each round into a playful encounter.

We led the creative design and project-managed the research and development, fabrication and build in the UK, before coordinating installation in the United States. One creative vision, carried all the way from the first concept to a finished attraction ready to play.
